Thanks to the wonderful work of our students, the Middle School Library is looking better and better. We now have the sixth graders' Book Talk Haikus on display, as well as the beginning of our rotating gallery of art created by sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Thank you to the families that donated frames to make the gallery possible! Soon to come will be some of the ALA Book Award informational posters designed by the fifth graders (others will be hung in the PK-5 Library). In the photo gallery below you can see groups of fifth graders presenting the award that they learned about to the class. I was impressed - these students are certainly getting to be polished presenters!

The kindergarteners couldn't make their regularly scheduled library time last week due to a field trip, so they came in on Friday morning for a quick book exchange session. I am so glad that Ms. Keenan and I were able to find a time to get them in to the library because, as you can see below, watching these new readers in action is priceless. Thank you to the kindergarteners for making me smile!
